Mass care is more than opening a shelter - it’s about meeting the complex needs of the individuals who depend on it.
This interactive roundtable will explore the real-world challenges that frequently occur during mass care operations. This includes, but is not limited to, prescription medications, dietary restrictions, Access and Functional Needs (AFN), transportation to medical appointments, continuity of care, durable medical equipment, and patient tracking.
Participants will share experiences, identify gaps, and discuss practical solutions for improving and maintaining coordination and communication among agencies, organizations and community partners.
